DH CUSTOM COMPONENTS - THE COMPANY Founded in 1976, by the late Don Hughes, DH Custom Components has grown from humble beginnings in Don's garage to today's 8600 sq foot factory. A toolmaker by trade with extensive press shop experience in England, Don was a particularly innovative and skilled operator. Most of the current staff trained under Don's tutelage and a number have been with the company in excess of twenty years. The company was more than a just a business to Don - it was his "life". Working with metal was as much a 'hobby' as a livelihood. After an initial emphasis on producing a range of pressed items, DHCC expanded into a wider range of sheetmetal and tubular custom made products for the shopfitting, furniture, wire making, electrical and general industries. The current management endeavours to continue the tradition of prompt service supplying high quality products at a reasonable rate. |
